God Thoughts No. Eleven

I can't expect people to give more than they are able.

I can, however, pray that they would desire to learn to give more of themselves

by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Those who reach out to others

move along with the Holy Spirit.

Those who are content to remain in their current state are in danger of stagnation.

 God has said, "Stagnant water breeds disease." 

Spirit of God stir up the waters.

Body of Christ, stir up the waters!

Stir up the waters of compassion!

Stir up the desire to reach beyond ourselves and out to others!

Stir up, stir up O Holy One.
